A deterministic file-wallet challenge resolved from one exact image, one password and a documented SHA-256 derivation.
Reconstruct the exact image
The staged hints revealed edits applied in Microsoft Paint to the original Snoop Dogg image. The final Modified.jpg was confirmed by MD5 14c270e2b607f13d852f1a6ed9f83840.
Recover the password
The creator disclosed the six-character password SpaceX.
Follow File-Wallet’s documented method
File-Wallet hashes the exact FileAsDataURL plus Password using SHA-256 and treats the result as wallet entropy.
Compare the derived wallet
The deterministic output could be checked against the published Monero address and view key before attempting recovery.
Separate solution from payout
Only 0.03125 XMR remained when the raw answer image was released. By November 2024 the creator confirmed the wallet was empty.
TAKEAWAYExact file bytes are part of the key. A visually identical recreation is useless unless its checksum matches.
